B.Y.O.L.C. (Build Your Own Lash Cleanser)

By now you probably know that cleaning your lash extensions daily is the key to healthy natural lashes and better retention. Cleaning your lashes does not have to be expensive and you don’t have to go and buy a fancy lash cleanser. You can actually make your own at home! It takes less than five minutes and costs less than $20.

What you’ll need:

Pour the baby shampoo and baking soda into your foam pump bottle and then fill the rest of the bottle up with distilled water. Shake it up, and you’re done! Easy right?

The baking soda helps to balance the pH of your lashes and also helps prevent buildup and bacteria, leading to better retention. Baby shampoo is gentle to use on and around your eyes so there is no stinging or burning.

How to use your lash cleanser:

  1. Spray a nickel sized amount of the foam directly on your lashes

  2. Use a lash cleansing brush and gently work the foam into your lashes for 30 seconds

  3. Rinse with water

  4. Optional: Dry your lashes with a mini fan

  5. When your lashes are dry, brush them with a spoolie
